Victoria Taylor

Victoria Taylor.

Victoria Taylor is an accomplished cricketer, having played from a young age and been involved in the cricket community for almost her entire life.

Victoria is a Hamilton native, having completed her schooling and tertiary education there, completing a Bachelor of Teaching and a Bachelor of Sport and Leisure through the University of Waikato.

After starting as a cricketer at the age of five, Victoria found a passion for the sport which was shared by the rest of her family, including her father and older brother who both played representative group-age cricket.

Victoria debuted for the Northern Spirit as a teenager, and went on to play for New Zealand A and tour Australia. At 25, she retired from cricket to focus on her career as a teacher.

Since finishing teaching, Victoria has been a full-time stay-at-home mum with three beautiful children and has travelled the world with her family, following her husband’s cricketing career with the BLACKCAPS.

Victoria has an excellent knowledge of the game at all levels, and is looking forward to giving back to the sport that provided she and her family with so much opportunity.
