Michael Talbot .

Mike Talbot believes sport provides powerful pathways for young people to develop life skills such as self-discipline, teamwork, and resilience.

His journey in sports administration began after he followed his daughters into diving, becoming a committee member and later Chair of Waikato Diving in the early 2000s. Mike has been a proud sponsor of Fraser Tech Rugby since 2009 and served as a Director of the Waikato Rugby Union from 2015 to 2023.

Cricket has long been a passion for Mike. He played at school then club level in his late teens and has followed the game ever since. As a founding member of the Seddon Cricket Club, he has enjoyed both the camaraderie and the opportunity to support cricketers from all backgrounds.

Mike is looking forward to bringing this experience to the Northern Districts Foundation and helping create meaningful opportunities through cricket.
